Follow these simple directions and click the images for help in creating your custom calculator.
Choose 'Normal' or 'Widget' to indicate your calculator as full landscape mode or sidebar widget sized.
Fill out the remaing 'General' information if you desire to add your own logo, title, footer, or intro.
Decide which 'Fields' you want to include in your calculator. Each field corresponds with a function on your calculator and can be defined as a 'Textbox' to allow users to pick any value or a 'Dropdown' to provide generic values.
Should you choose to add or change drop downs, you can tailor the incrememnts to fit your audience in the 'Defaults/Bounds' section.
In the 'Colors' section you can customize any color on the calculator. See what you're modifying by clicking the .
Click 'Generate' and plug the code into your website where you'd like it to appear and you're done!
Note that in order to use a drop-down list for a field, you must specify the minimum, maximum, and step values. If you’re happy with the numbers used by default on the main mortgage calculator page there is no need to change anything in this section.

Normal size is the full landscape tool as seen at the top of our mortgage calculator page. Widget size is smaller and makes a better fit for a blog sidebar.
The logo location is the URL to the image of the logo you wish to use. Such as http://www.mortgageloanplace.com/images/logo_small2.gif is the default logo location. Leave blank to not display a logo.
The logo link is the URL to the website you want the browser to go once the visitor has clicked the logo. Such as http://www.mortgageloanplace.com is the default logo location. Leave blank to not have the logo linked to a website.
Indicates if the calculator should use animations while displaying information. Choosing to not use animations can lower the processing time for the calulator.
This is the text that will show up in the tab's content before any calculations have been done. This could be used as a welcome message or instructions on how to use the calculator.
